Student is a person who is engaged in study or devoted to learning. Considering this concept, we can find that studying is the most important task of a student. But in some countries, teenagers have jobs while they are students. That (This has negative and positive aspect)is considered both good and bad. As for me, allowing teenager students to work is quite interesing, according to the following reasons.
Firstly, students can contact with some practical works that they cannot learn from books. After hard working on a subject, it is undoubtedly a good thing if they can acquire related practice from a given job.
Student who get the work while studying know that they can always learn to apply their classroom skill to of their real lives. A linguistics student may wprk as an English teacher and thus learn how language develops in chillhood. Further, a law student may work in court to get a sense of how law work or how the laws they study in the books can be applied to real cases. Jobs become a platform for students to learn both practice and theory.
Second, to be successful in life, people need many experiences which are assembled during their life. The more they experienced, the more they understand about life and society. Being a student, they have received quite a lot of knowledge, and maybe have citizen right, being able to take responsibility for certain things, but almost inexperienced. (Therefore, having a part time job is a step forward to prepare them for the future) .and a preparation for the future
Third, the more mature, the more money people need, especially in their grown-up. Many demands need to be met. They need money to go shopping, date, held and joint parties, buying books and clothes, etc...If they have a part time job, they can earn money and meet partially, or even totally all living costs by themselves, (therefore,) it helps to lessen the financial burden for to their parents. In fact, this is the main reason, especially for students whose parents can’t afford completely their study fee. Actually, I have witnessed some students not only can cover all their costs, but also set aside money to give their parents, which makes the latter feel very happy
fourth, if a student earns money, they will learn to respect labour, respect money they have ever received from their parents, how hard their parents work to support them. They also know how to balance their small budget by using reasonably the money they earned, and save money for greater plans in their life. Obviously, this brings them financial management ability ,which is necessary in every situation and position
Most importantly, it enrich student’s life. Finally, when students have jobs, they will have business relationships also. Those are first bricks for them to lay foundation in their career. There are many more reasons but the aboves are the most important and convincing enough for students to think about having a job, and a partime job is the best policy.
Above all(,In conclusion or,In sum, )I think having a job when studying at the university is such a wonderful idea, provided that you have a suitable schedule, and a good health to avoid falling down in studying result. What students get in the early days, before they graduate, are really valuable lesson for their life.
